A representative of Van Don Regional General Hospital ( Quang Ninh province) said that at around 4am yesterday (November 11), the emergency team at facility 2 received a 45-year-old male patient (foreign nationality), admitted to the hospital with severe left chest pain, difficulty breathing, sweating, and fatigue. These are typical symptoms of unstable angina.
Upon admission, the team of doctors and nurses promptly examined, performed an electrocardiogram, tested cardiac enzymes, controlled pain, and closely monitored clinical developments.
Recognizing that this was a case with a high risk of acute cardiovascular complications, the doctors treated the patient according to the emergency protocol. At the same time, they activated the consultation process and urgently contacted the provincial level to transfer the patient for further intensive treatment.
