President Luong Cuong's visit deepens the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos

This is the first State visit to Laos by Comrade Luong Cuong in his new position. The visit takes place at a time when the two Parties and States of Laos and Vietnam are jubilantly organizing activities to celebrate historical holidays of the two countries, such as the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; the 50th anniversary of Laos' National Day and the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 105th anniversary of the birth of President Kaysone Phomvihane and the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh. This is proof that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always give special priority to the Vietnam-Laos relationship.

Ambassador Khamphao emphasized that the State visit ofPresident Luong Cuong to Laos has helped the people of Vietnam and Laos, especially the young generation, understand more deeply the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos, so that together they can continue to strengthen and develop the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and Laos forever.

According to Ambassador Khamphao, although the regional and world situation continues to have many complex and unpredictable developments, the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, Laos and Vietnam has always been consolidated, nurtured and developed well in all fields, from politics , economy, defense - security, diplomacy to other fields; the two countries continue to work together to preserve independence, peace and stability for the sustainable development of the two countries.

On this occasion, Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Khamphao Ernthavanh sent best wishes to the leaders of the two Parties and States to continue to lead and direct the two countries of Laos and Vietnam to develop more and more prosperously and forever stronger; wishing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Laos and Vietnam, Vietnam and Laos to be forever green and everlasting.
