Cine7 presents “Best Friends' Wedding” - the lasting appeal of a Hollywood rom-com

In the world cinema flow of the late 1990s, "Best Friend's Wedding" is considered one of the works that contributed to shaping the romantic comedy genre. Not only did it earn nearly 300 million USD in revenue, 8 times the production budget, the film also held a solid position in the group of most favorite rom-com works of the past three decades.

Vietnamese audiences will have the opportunity to see this classic film again in the Cine7 time slot, broadcast at 9:00 p.m. on November 16 on VTV3 channel.

Released in 1997, “My Best Friend's Wedding” revolves around Julianne (Julia Roberts) - a smart, charismatic but somewhat selfish food critic. When her best friend Michael (Dermot Mulroney) announces his upcoming marriage, Julianne suddenly realizes her true feelings. Her journey to rekindle her late love is placed in opposition to Kimmy (Cameron Diaz) - a young, innocent and sincere bride.
