With a keen sense of smell, these "four-legged warriors" are being used to search for victims suspected to be buried under layers of rock and mud, where motor vehicles have difficulty accessing them.

In addition to using conventional means, Military Region 5 has used drones (flycam) to survey and delimit the search area from above, to improve efficiency and shorten rescue time.

Forces began deploying plans to approach the landslide scene in severe weather, as it continued to rain.

Although the weather continues to rain, the terrain is difficult, and the geological developments in the landslide area continue to be complicated, the entire force is trying its best, urgently with high determination in the spirit of "all for serving the people".

Immediately after reaching the area where they could get deep into the landslide site, the officers and soldiers used planks to create a path, along with the support of the sniffer dogs. Everyone was racing against time.
