Directly commanding at the scene, Colonel Do Xuan Hung asked the forces to be careful in coordinating the search for the missing victims. Immediately after hearing a quick report from the units directly involved and directly surveying the complex terrain, with a lot of mud, making it difficult to approach, Colonel Do Xuan Hung directly commanded and coordinated the rescue forces and vehicles.

The mobilized forces included hundreds of officers and soldiers from units of Military Region 5, along with the support of the police force and local militia. Notably, specially trained search and rescue dogs were also deployed to the scene.

With a keen sense of smell, these "four-legged warriors" are being used to search for victims suspected to be buried under layers of rock and mud, where motor vehicles have difficulty accessing them.
In addition to using conventional means, Military Region 5 has used drones (flycam) to survey and delimit the search area from above, to improve efficiency and shorten rescue time.

Although the weather continues to rain, the terrain is difficult, and the geological developments in the landslide area continue to be complicated, the entire force is trying its best, urgently with high determination in the spirit of "all for serving the people".
Immediately after reaching the area where they could get deep into the landslide site, the officers and soldiers used planks to create a path, along with the support of the sniffer dogs. Everyone was racing against time.

The supply of food, drinking water and medical equipment is also guaranteed to best support the rescue force. The search and rescue situation in Hung Son commune is still receiving special attention and close monitoring from all levels, sectors and public opinion.
