Quality contract named Adou Minh
CAHN Club has signed Vietnamese-American central defender Adou Minh with a 3-year contract.
This deal marks a strategic step in strengthening the defense, while demonstrating the long-term vision of CAHN Club in the context of participating in 4 tournaments this season (V-League, National Cup, ASEAN Club Championship, AFC Champions League 2).
Adou Minh was born in 1997 in Grenoble (France). The 1.78 m tall central defender is of French and Vietnamese descent. He has an ideal physique, good physical strength, and a strong, solid and disciplined playing style. With the ability to compete for the ball in the air, read situations and command the defense, Adou Minh is considered by experts to be one of the most notable central defenders in the V-League today.
Last season, Adou Minh was an important piece in the defense with 22 matches, helping Ha Tinh FC cause a surprise when finishing fifth in the V-League. Thanks to that, Adou Minh became one of two overseas Vietnamese players to be included in the tournament's typical lineup. At CAHN FC, Adou Minh will meet Cao Pendant Quang Vinh again. Both are overseas Vietnamese of French origin and have a close relationship in real life.
Open Vietnam team
The 3-year contract with Adou Minh clearly demonstrates CAHN Club's determination towards stability, professionalism and sustainability.
In addition to short-term contracts serving immediate competitiveness, CAHN prioritizes building a long-term foundation, preparing for the next generation and sustainable development in the future.
Adou Minh is expected to join CAHN Club to conquer major domestic and regional goals, and at the same time open up the opportunity to become a player for the Vietnamese national team if he completes the naturalization process in the near future.
At CAHN Club, there have been 2 cases of overseas Vietnamese successfully naturalized. They are goalkeeper Nguyen Filip and defender Cao Pendant Quang Vinh. CAHN Club is a "good land" for overseas Vietnamese, when both Filip and Quang Vinh played stably, then obtained Vietnamese nationality and played for the national team.
At CAHN Club, besides Adou Minh, there is also Brandon Ly, a Vietnamese-British player who has just transferred from Burnley's youth team. Brandon Ly plays right-back and is expected to show his ability as he has good technique and is still very young (only 20 years old).
