On the afternoon of May 11, Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club announced the decision to replace the head coach. Accordingly, the famous former striker Tran Minh Chien will be the captain for the team's remaining 4 matches in the 2024-2025 V-League. Coach Bui Doan Quang Huy was appointed to the position of technical director.

The second-to-last team Quy Nhon Binh Dinh just lost 1-3 on the field of the last team SHB Da Nang in the "reverse final" match in round 22 of V-League 2024-2025 on May 10.

This defeat leaves the martial arts team only 2 points ahead of SHB Da Nang, even though they still have one match left to play.

This former Vietnamese football star led B.Binh Duong Club to win the 2018 National Cup and led Ho Chi Minh City Club.

Recently, this former striker has been resting at home after leaving his role as technical director of the second division club Quang Ninh.

Currently, Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club is ranked 13th out of 14 teams with 19 points, 2 points more than the bottom team SHB Da Nang.

The team from the land of martial arts is only 1 and 2 points behind the two teams above, Song Lam Nghe An and Quang Nam, and has played one less match. So the chance for Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club to escape under coach Tran Minh Chien is still quite big.
