Accordingly, the province sets a specific target of reducing the multidimensional poverty rate (poor and near-poor households) by 1% - 1.5%/year, the poverty rate reduction is 0.41%; 100% of workers from poor, near-poor households, and households that have just escaped poverty need support in connection, counseling, career orientation, labor market information, and job search support; 100% of children from poor, near-poor households go to school at the right age; 100% of workers from poor, near-poor households, and recently escaped poverty, and low-income workers need support in training appropriate vocational skills. In addition, support is given to building and replicating poverty reduction models and projects, supporting the development of production, business, services, tourism, startups, and business startups to create livelihoods, jobs, and sustainable income for poor, near-poor, and newly escaped poverty households, etc.

To achieve the above targets, the whole province focuses on implementing projects including: Supporting investment in developing socio-economic infrastructure in Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh districts and Van Thanh commune (Van Ninh district); diversifying livelihoods, developing poverty reduction models; supporting production development, improving nutrition; developing vocational education and sustainable employment; communicating and reducing poverty information; improving capacity and monitoring and evaluating programs.
