Continue to implement 46 projects and tasks of information technology and digital transformation

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on the implementation of information technology (IT) projects and tasks, digital transformation in 2025 chaired by provincial agencies and units. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee agrees with the proposal of the Department of Science and Technology on the list of IT projects and tasks, digital transformation to continue implementing, temporarily suspend implementation, and stop implementation in the coming time.

Specifically, there are 46 IT and digital transformation projects and tasks that continue to be implemented, including 13 projects using investment capital and 33 projects and tasks using public capital. Of these, 8 projects and tasks are invested in or chaired by the Department of Science and Technology; 5 projects and tasks are invested in or chaired by the Provincial Police; the Department of Health, the Department of Education and Training, and the Department of Construction each invest or chair 4 projects and tasks. In addition, there are other agencies and units that are investors or chaired by other IT and digital transformation projects and tasks such as: Provincial Party Committee Office; Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Finance; Khanh Hoa Newspaper; Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Department of Industry and Trade; Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board; Provincial Political School, etc.

The Provincial People's Committee agreed to temporarily suspend the implementation of 17 IT and digital transformation projects and tasks; and suspend the implementation of 6 other IT and digital transformation projects and tasks.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns departments, branches, sectors and units that are investors or preside over the implementation of IT and digital transformation projects and tasks to continue to be responsible for organizing, evaluating and implementing projects and tasks to ensure progress and set goals, as well as comply with legal regulations.

For projects and tasks that are temporarily suspended, it is necessary to proactively review, survey, evaluate and propose plans to adjust the project and tasks to suit the actual situation. For projects and tasks that are suspended, it is necessary to review and carry out final settlement procedures up to the time of suspension in accordance with legal regulations. The Department of Science and Technology shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to proactively monitor and urge the implementation of the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.
