Awarding scholarships 'Lighting up the dreams of children in Giong Trom'

Delegates awarded scholarships to Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan, grade 9, Hung Phong Secondary School.

The students receiving the scholarships include: Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan, grade 9, Hung Phong Secondary School; Nguyen Le Hoang An, grade 1/A, Thuan Dien Primary School; Bui Ngoc Nhu Y, grade 9/1, Hoang Lam Secondary School; Le Thi Ngoc Vy, grade 4/1, Le Tho Xuan Primary School and Tran Ngoc Nhu Y, grade 9/2, Chau Binh Secondary School. These are students with especially difficult circumstances or suffering from serious illnesses but have outstanding academic achievements, are excellent students for many consecutive years, excellent students at all levels, actively participate in movements launched by the school and the Youth Union. Each scholarship includes 2 million VND in cash and 20 notebooks, funded by Secretary of the District Party Committee Nguyen Thai Binh .

At each destination, Secretary of the District Party Committee Nguyen Thai Binh kindly visited the family circumstances and academic results of the students, encouraged them to try to overcome difficulties and achieve good results in their studies. Scholarships were given to the students in the form of piggy banks, therebyeducating them to be frugal and to appreciate the affection of leaders, teachers, family and society for them. This is also a meaningful activity to celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2025).
