Thanh Hoa Club has not yet fired the coach

After considering coach Tomislav Steinbruckner's resignation, Thanh Hoa club's leadership expressed their desire for the coach to continue leading the team. Mr. Steinbruckner signed a contract with the Thanh Hoa team at the end of March.

Under the Croatian coach, Thanh Hoa played 7 matches and only won 1 (3-1 against The Cong Viettel at home). However, coach Steinbruckner initially made changes in the team's playing style.

Thanh Hoa Club leaders assessed that the 58-year-old coach has good expertise, builds a clear playing style and needs more time to adapt to the football environment in Vietnam as well as strengthen the team's strength and tactics. Mr. Steinbruckner still receives trust from the club's upper echelons.

The Croatian coach is the replacement for his colleague Velizar Popov (who left after losing to Hai Phong FC in the National Cup). This change brings a "new wind" to Thanh Hoa club. The Thanh Hoa team attacks with style and shows a positive spirit.

However, the limitations of this club have not been overcome. The quality and depth of Thanh Hoa Club's squad this season are not good.

The Thanh team may play according to the coach's "playbook" but are not effective enough in taking advantage of opportunities. Meanwhile, coach Steinbruckner has not created a solid defense and does not have many personnel options to deal with.
