CMB signed a cooperation agreement to develop and apply AI technology in the field of maritime construction

On December 27, 2024, in Hanoi , Maritime Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company (CMB) and CES GLOBAL Artificial Intelligence Technology Joint Stock Company (CES) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in developing and applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Trung Kien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CMB; Mr. Le Huu Quang, General Director of CMB; Ms. Vu Thi Vinh, Director of CES; Mr. Nguyen Van Tiep, Head of CES Technical and Technical Training Department, along with leaders and experts from both sides.

The cooperation between CMB and CES is based on the combination of CMB's in-depth experience in the field of marine construction and CES's AI technology strengths. The two sides have agreed to cooperate in the following areas: - Organizing workshops on AI application in enterprises; - Supporting CMB in training AI personnel; - Cooperating in building multi-platform integrated chatbots, developing automated process systems, and transferring technology; - Cooperating in investing and doing business in projects suitable to the needs, capabilities, and resources of each party. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Huu Quang, General Director of CMB, shared the results of CMB's research and application in the past time and looked forward to comprehensive cooperation with CES as a pioneer in the field of research, training consulting, and building AI technology solutions in enterprises. “The cooperation with CES, a pioneer in the field of AI, will help us create breakthroughs in consulting, design and project management, while enhancing our competitiveness in the market.” Ms. Vu Thi Vinh, Director of CES, highly appreciated the results that CMB has achieved in the field of AI. She shared: “CMB's AI development strategy and roadmap are not only highly practical but also in line with global technology trends. We believe that this cooperation will bring great value to both parties and the maritime industry in general.” With strong commitments from both sides, this cooperation promises to open a new chapter in promoting AI applications, contributing to the modernization of Vietnam's maritime industry and creating the premise for breakthrough developments.
