The incident occurred on June 20 with Botafogo's surprising victory over PSG in the second match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup group stage.
Shocking footage shows a mass brawl breaking out between groups of fans from both teams. Around 25 people were seen attacking each other.
At the climax, two PSG fans attacked a Botafogo fan together. Even when the man fell to the ground, they continued to attack.
During the chaos, a PSG fan carried out a shocking attack by kicking and stomping on the head of a person lying on the ground. Another was also filmed repeatedly punching a collapsed fan.

What was most shocking was the complete absence of security and police to stop the fight. Many other fans, including women and children, were left terrified by the incident.
Currently, the exact cause of the fight as well as the extent of injuries to those involved are still unclear.
This is not the first time PSG fans have been involved in violence.
After the team won the Champions League last month, celebrations turned violent in the capital Paris, resulting in cars being set on fire and clashes with police. More than 500 people were arrested and 200 injured in the events.
In contrast to the chaos in the stands, Botafogo created a shock on the pitch. Igor Jesus' only goal helped the Brazilian representative win 1-0.
With two wins in a row, Botafogo are currently top of Group B and are almost certain to qualify, pushing PSG and Atletico Madrid into a life-and-death battle for second place.
