A teacher in the highlands is passionate about her career of educating people.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam is always dedicated to the career of educating people.

Since childhood, student Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam dreamed of becoming a teacher. After graduating from high school, Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam registered for and was admitted to Thanh Hoa Pedagogical High School. In 2005, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam was assigned to teach at Tan Binh Primary School (Nhu Xuan). From 2006 to January 2022, Ms. Sam worked at Mau Lam Primary School and from February 2022 to present, she was transferred to Hai Long Primary School.

With the motto "to have good students, you must have good teachers", Ms. Sam always strives to innovate teaching methods, boldly applying information technology to lectures to create excitement for students. At the same time, she actively studies to improve her qualifications, expertise, and skills, fully participates in training and professional development classes; spends a lot of time preparing lesson plans suitable for students, so that they can remember and deepen the knowledge they have learned. In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam also enthusiastically participates in professional innovation movements, has participated in writing experience initiatives for many years and has been highly appreciated by the scientific council ofthe education sector.

Currently, as the head of the professional group for grades 4 and 5, teacher Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam is always actively advising the school board in educating students and organizing many extracurricular activities. Thereby, creating a healthy learning and living environment, contributing to improving the quality of education at the school. In the 2024-2025 school year, Ms. Sam's class had 12 students winning prizes in the "Vietnamese Champion" contest at the district and provincial levels, including 1 student winning first prize at the provincial level.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam shared: "As a homeroom teacher, I consider myself not only a teacher but also a friend who regularly talks to, is close to, and understands the students' thoughts and aspirations, thereby finding solutions to help them improve their learning awareness. In addition to the time standing on the podium, I spend a lot of time teaching students life skills through real-life stories for them to apply in life."

With her contributions, teacher Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhu Thanh district for many years for her outstanding achievements in teaching.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Quy, Principal of Hai Long Primary School, said: Teacher Nguyen Thi Thanh Sam is not only flexible and creative in innovating teaching methods but also actively builds and spreads the school's emulation movements. She is truly a shining example for teachers to learn and follow.
