Among the students who died in the mini apartment fire, there were 6 students from Khuong Dinh Secondary School (3 in 6th grade, 2 in 7th grade and 1 in 9th grade). More tragically, 3 students lost their entire families.
A representative of Khuong Dinh Secondary School said that immediately after the tragic incident, the school organized a ceremony to encourage, visit and mourn the families of the students who were affected. The school also supported each family with 5 million VND.

This morning, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also organized a memorial service and raised funds for the families of the victims. The total amount raised as of noon today is nearly 180 million VND. The money will be transferred to the families of the teachers and students affected this afternoon.
Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Department of Education and Training, directededucation departments and schools in the area to continue reviewing cases of officials, teachers, staff and students related to the fire, and at the same time have a plan to support injured students who are being treated.
The Department Director also requested that schools take measures to support and supervise students injured in the fire who had to temporarily stop studying, and organize with families to take care of the funerals of students who unfortunately died.
According to Hanoi Police, as of the afternoon of September 13, at least 56 people were killed and 37 injured in a mini apartment fire in Hanoi.
The fire was discovered at 11:50 p.m. on September 12 at a mini apartment building in Khuong Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. There are 150 people living in an area of about 200 square meters. Authorities are clarifying the responsibilities of related organizations and individuals, and continuing to remedy the consequences.
