"The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has a case of Bich Tuyen suffering from back muscle spasms. We really hope that Bich Tuyen will recover in time to compete in the 2025 AVC Nations Cup. The remaining 13 players are all in the best physical condition, ready to defend their championship title," coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet shared.

Recently, 25-year-old striker Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen from Vinh Long has been an irreplaceable force in the Vietnam women's volleyball team. With stable performance, Bich Tuyen is the number 1 scorer for the Vietnam women's volleyball team in international tournaments. Bich Tuyen's role is even more important in the context that Tran Thi Thanh Thuy has not regained her best form since the injury she suffered while competing in Japan.

At this year's AVC Nations Cup, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, in addition to familiar faces such as Thanh Thuy, Bich Tuyen, Kieu Trinh, Lam Oanh, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Khanh Dang..., also has notable new faces such as Nguyen Thi Uyen, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Bich Thuy. These are new but old faces who were previously called up to the team. Therefore, this time they are expected to shine and assert themselves.

According to the schedule of the Asian Volleyball Tournament AVC Nations Cup, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen and the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in Group A will face Hong Kong (China) at 8:00 p.m. on June 7, Taiwan at 8:00 p.m. on June 8, India at 8:00 p.m. on June 11, and Australia at 8:00 p.m. on June 12. The teams ranked first and second in the two groups will qualify for the semi-finals.
