Authorities inspect weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98

The inspection was carried out after a video of a dispute between DJ Ngan 98 and another seller went viral on social media, in which information appeared that the X1000 weight loss product may contain sibutramine - a banned substance that causes loss of appetite and affects cardiovascular health. However, when they came to inspect, the authorities could not find the company at the registered address. Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety is coordinating with relevant agencies to continue the verification.
