Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is a competition for middle and high school students (with the guidance of teachers), encouraging them to proactively research and apply STEMeducation to solve social problems.

In Vietnam, the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition was first held in 2019. Up to now, the competition has become an annual creative thinking playground for middle and high school students aged 12 to 18.
By the end of 2024, the program had attracted nearly 480,000 students and teachers to register, receiving nearly 7,500 entries. With the desire to popularize STEM, and at the same time further promote activities to nurture technology talents - one of the important foundations in the country's future development, this year is the third year that Samsung has implemented direct launch programs in all three regions of the North - Central - South.

At the event, Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City shared: “On behalf of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, I would like to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of Samsung Group in accompanying the education sector over the years, creating a useful, modern and inspiring learning playground for Vietnamese students in general, and Da Nang students in particular. I believe that Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 will continue to discover and nurture many creative ideas with high applicability, contributing to spreading the spirit of science and technology, while promoting the sustainable development of the community, locality and society”.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Na Ki Hong - General Director of Samsung Vietnam said: "Training and nurturing talent is the most important problem of the country. In particular, training technology talent is the key for each country to join the ranks of developed countries around the world. In addition to economic contributions, Samsung hopes to contribute to improving Vietnam's basic competitiveness through nurturing technology talent, and more broadly, joining hands to nurture Vietnam's future leaders. We hope that students nationwide will continuously improve their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and problem-solving skills to become key talents of the country."

In recent years, the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest has always received active participation from students in Da Nang in particular and the Central provinces in general. In 2024 alone, nearly 600 entries from more than 2,500 students and teachers in the Central region registered to participate in the contest. Among these, many teams were highly appreciated and won high prizes, specifically: 11 teams entered the Top 40 best teams nationwide to participate in the second round of product development, 5 teams continued to enter the national finals and especially the final results had 1 team winning First Prize in Group B High School and 1 team winning Second Prize in Group A Middle School.
