Hanoi police receive nearly 15,000 applications for driver's license renewal

Receiving and returning results of issuing and exchanging driving licenses at 2 locations of the Traffic Police Department, of which 1 location has just been deployed at the Hanoi City Public Administration Service Center, has brought about many practical results.

In addition, people applying for driver's license renewal through the Public Service Portal has reduced the number of direct applications at locations deployed by the police force.

The Traffic Police Department also recommends that to save time, costs, and reduce the burden on management agencies, people should carry out administrative procedures through the Online Public Service Portal.

Specifically, if changing a driver's license through the full online public service, people need to prepare documents including: Photocopy of driver's license, photocopy of citizen ID card or passport, electronic or electronically certified health certificate (.pdf or .doc format); portrait photo (.jpg format).

Then, people access the website: https://dichvucong.gov.vn. register or log in to an account according to the instructions. Enter the search "Change driver's license..."

Citizens follow the instructions to submit the application and pay the fee. The driving license results will be returned to the citizen's home by post.

In the coming time, Hanoi City Police will continue to closely coordinate with the City Public Administration Service Center, Vietnam Post Corporation, Viettel Post Corporation, FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company ... to deploy more locations to guide people to declare and complete online procedures for public services performed by the City Police at online public service agents in Hanoi.
