Tuyen Quang Provincial Police prosecuted 3 subjects for trafficking nearly 70kg of explosive fireworks

The Investigation Police Agency, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, has just issued a Decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue an arrest warrant to detain the accused for 4 months for the subjects who traded nearly 70kg of explosive fireworks.

Subject Ha Van Tu was arrested with evidence.

The subjects are Hoang Van Tu, born in 1983, residing in Cay Thi village, Phuc Ung commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province; Nong Thanh Vuong, born in 1984 and Nong Van Ha, born in 1986, both residing in Tong Mong hamlet, Tra Linh town, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province, all for the crime of Trading in prohibited goods, stipulated in Article 190 of the Penal Code.

Previously, on July 28, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with the Traffic Police Department and the Technical Department of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police to catch Hoang Van Tu red-handed while he was transporting 50 boxes of explosive fireworks weighing nearly 70kg through Cay Da village, Thuong Am commune, Son Duong district.

During the investigation and verification process, the Investigation Police Agency has clarified the origin of the fireworks that Hoang Van Tu bought from Nong Thanh Vuong and Nong Van Ha with the purpose of bringing them to Tuyen Quang to sell for profit. Currently, the case is under further investigation.

Tuyen Quang Provincial Police requested agencies, organizations and people to continue to promote propaganda, share articles and images of regulations on firecracker management and use; raise vigilance, detect and report and provide information to authorities about subjects storing, transporting, producing, trading and using firecrackers to promptly prevent and handle.
