Ho Chi Minh City Police mobilized more than 4.9 million opinions on amending the Constitution via VNeID

On May 21, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (PC06, Ho Chi Minh City Police) announced that there are currently more than 4.9 million citizens in Ho Chi Minh City with level 2 electronic identification accounts. Ho Chi Minh City Police launched a campaign with the goal of mobilizing more than 4.9 million citizens with level 2 electronic identification accounts to contribute their opinions to the draft amendments and supplements to the 2013 Constitution.

According to the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Ho Chi Minh City Police is mobilizing all forces and implementing many synchronous solutions with the determination to complete this goal before May 30, 2025.

Currently, many fixed and mobile working groups have been established, directly "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every person", concentrating in densely populated residential areas.

Contributing to amending the Constitution is the right and responsibility of citizens.

In addition, the police force focuses on propaganda in family groups, promoting the role of technology-savvy people to guide relatives in using the VNeID application to give opinions.

At the same time, build and focus on guiding those who are the core force, the extended arm in densely populated areas and locations. Thereby, this force will support the police force to continue guiding local people... to give opinions on the draft amendments and supplements to the 2013 Constitution through the VNeID application.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City Police chaired a meeting with PC06, relevant departments, branches and units to strengthen coordination and speed up implementation progress.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, giving opinions on the draft amendments to the 2013 Constitution is not only a right but also a responsibility of citizens in the digital age. In addition to the efforts of the authorities, the initiative and positivity of each citizen is the decisive factor for the success of the campaign to mobilize more than 4.9 million citizens with level 2 electronic identification accounts to participate in giving opinions on the amendments to the 2013 Constitution via the VNeID application.

There are currently two ways to contribute ideas to amend the 2013 Constitution: contribute ideas on VNeID or the website vneid.gov.vn.
