The 2025 Public Security Diploma 2 Entrance Exam will be held on June 14-15. The written exam will last 150 minutes.

The Police Diploma 2 exam consists of 2 parts:

Part 1: Social commentary on political , economic, cultural and social issues.

Part 2 (multiple choice), candidates choose 1 of 4 subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Macroeconomics , Philosophy, Theory of State and Law.

Test score: The total score of the test is 100 points. Of which, the Essay section accounts for 30% of the total score of the test; the Multiple Choice section accounts for 70% of the total score of the test.

About the assessment level and number of questions in an exam code

- Essay section: 1 question. Of which, Recognition (level 1), understanding (level 2): 80%; Application (level 3): 20%.

- Multiple choice section: 70 questions, including: Recognition (level 1): 21 questions (30%); Comprehension (level 2): 28 questions (40%); Application (level 3): 21 questions (30%).

In 2025, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to assign the People's Public Security academies and schools to recruit 830 new regular university-level training targets for citizens who have graduated from a non-Public Security field.

Political standards, health standards: Applied as for admission (new admission) of high school students to Police schools.

Candidates choose 1 of 4 exam codes to take the exam according to the major, group of majors, and registered school. In which, the People's Police Academy (Security major group); the People's Police Academy, the People's Police University and the People's Police University consider the exam codes CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4; the Information Security major, the People's Police Academy and the Fire Prevention University consider the exam code CA1; the People's Police Technical-Logistics University considers the exam codes CA1, CA2.

The admission score is the total score of the Ministry of Public Security's Diploma 2 entrance exam converted to a 30-point scale rounded to 2 decimal places plus regional priority points, subject priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, and bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

The formula for calculating scores is as follows: ĐXT = BTBCA*3/10 + ĐC, in which: + ĐXT: admission score + BTBCA: score of the Ministry of Public Security's Diploma 2 assessment test + ĐC: bonus points.

- The candidate's bonus points are determined by the sum of regional priority points, subject priority points and bonus points prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security, according to the formula: DC = DT + KV + Dth. In which: DC is the bonus point, DT is the subject priority point, KV is the regional priority point, Dth is the bonus point.
