Announcement of exam scores and benchmark scores for grade 10 of Gifted High School

Ho Chi Minh City National University High School for the Gifted has just announced the exam scores and benchmark scores for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.

The 10th grade entrance exam for Gifted High School took place at the end of May.

Readers can look up the 10th grade exam scores of the Gifted High School at https://tuyensinh.ptnk.edu.vn/tracuuketqua from 11:30 today using their registration number and citizen identification number.

Based on the exam scores and 10th grade enrollment targets, the 10th grade enrollment council of this school announced the following benchmark scores:

The admission score for each specialized class is determined based on the total score of the non-specialized exam and the specialized subject exam corresponding to the admission combination of the specialized class, in which the non-specialized exam score is calculated with a coefficient of 1, the specialized subject exam is calculated with a coefficient of 2, both on a 10-point scale.

For specialized classes with 2 admission groups, based on the entrance exam results, the number of registered wishes and the admission quota, the Admissions Council will decide the admission score corresponding to each group.

Candidates whose total score of the subjects in the admission combination is equal to or higher than the announced admission score for the specialized class with higher priority wishes are considered eligible for admission.

The Chief accepts appeal applications from now until 5:00 p.m. on June 12.

According to information from the Gifted High School, this year there are 3,509 candidates registered for the 10th grade exam. With an enrollment target of 595 students, the overall competition ratio to enter the school is 1/5.8.

Compared to the 2024 grade 10 entrance exam of this school, with the same enrollment target as this year but 3,843 students registered for the exam, the competition ratio is 1/6.5. Thus, the competition ratio of grade 10 of the Gifted High School in 2025 is lower than in 2024.
