Announcing the Secretariat's decision on personnel of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department

On June 30 in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held a conference to announce the decision of the Party Central Committee Secretariat and the decision of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission on personnel work. Many key personnel were mobilized and appointed to perfect the organization and meet the requirements of the new period.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission chaired the Conference.

The conference announced the decision of the Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission. Accordingly, the Secretariat decided that Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Mr. Tran Thanh Lam was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

Speaking at the Conference, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia congratulated Mr. Tran Thanh Lam on his new assignment. He assessed Mr. Tran Thanh Lam as a cadre with basic training, maturity from the locality and grassroots; trained and tested through many different positions, with qualities, capacity and practical experience. Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his belief that Mr. Tran Thanh Lam will continue to promote a sense of responsibility and high determination in implementing the increasingly new requirements of ideological work, propaganda and mass mobilization in the current period.

In his acceptance speech, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Tran Thanh Lam expressed his honor to return to work at the agency he was previously attached to. He emphasized that with its important, multi-disciplinary functions, tasks and position, especially in the new context of the country, the requirement for the staff of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission is to constantly innovate and improve quality to meet the tasks.

Receiving the direction and assignment from the Head of the Board Nguyen Trong Nghia, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam affirmed that he would quickly get to work, promote the knowledge and practical experience accumulated from the base, and actively contribute to the development of the Board. At the same time, he pledged to uphold the principles of solidarity and unity; promote the spirit of respect and listening; promote creativity, and closely connect with practical requirements.

On this occasion, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission announced the decision to transfer and appoint: Chief of the Office of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Do Van Dung to hold the position of Department Head, assisting the Head of the Commission; Director of the Propaganda Department Nguyen Que Lam to hold the position of Chief of the Office of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Phu Truong, Department Head, Secretary of the Head of the Commission, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Democracy and State Agencies, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, from July 1, 2025.
