Announcing the book History of Cai Lay District Women's Union from 1930 to 2020

(ABO) On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Women's Union of Cai Lay district (Tien Giang province) has just organized a conference to announce the book "History of the Women's Union of Cai Lay district from 1930 to 2020"; commend outstanding cadres, members, and women and give gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

Attending the event were comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Diep, Permanent Vice President of Tien Giang Provincial Women's Union; comrade Nguyen Van Tam, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Cai Lay District Party Committee; and officials of Cai Lay District Women's Union through the periods.

Conference to announce the book History of Cai Lay District Women's Union, term 1930 - 2020.

The book History of Cai Lay District Women's Union from 1930 to 2020 consists of 7 chapters, which is the result of the process of collecting, researching and synthesizing sources of documents, stories, and memoirs of historical witnesses and officials of Cai Lay District Women's Union through the periods. The book also has an appendix introducing typical examples of women in Cai Lay District in the liberation of the South and national reunification (1954 - 1975), a list of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and leaders of the District Women's Union through the periods. The content vividly recreates the revolutionary struggles of Cai Lay District women and their participation in implementing the renovation policy, economic development and new rural construction.

Give gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

The compilation of the book aims to honor the contributions and sacrifices of generations of members and women in the struggle for national independence, healing the wounds of war, restoring and developing the economy, culture, society, and building the homeland. This is a valuable document, contributing toeducating patriotism and revolutionary traditions for generations of cadres, members, and women.

Give books to conference delegates.

At the conference, the Cai Lay District Women's Union presented the book History of the Cai Lay District Women's Union from 1930 to 2020 to the conference delegates and awarded 3 individuals who made many contributions to the collection and compilation of the book. At the same time, 60 exemplary cadres and members in the work of the Women's Union and the women's movement were honored; and scholarships were awarded to 10 students in difficult circumstances.
