Viet Trung Joint Stock Company Trade Union: Many meaningful activities in response to Workers' Month, Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene

(QBĐT) - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Viet Trung Joint Stock Company Pham Xuan Thanh said: Responding to Workers' Month, Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) in 2024, the Company's Trade Union has implemented many meaningful activities to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and employees.

Representatives of the Trade Union of Viet Trung Joint Stock Company visited and gave gifts to encourage union members and employees in difficult circumstances.

Viet Trung Joint Stock Company Trade Union is a grassroots trade union under the Provincial Labor Federation with 522 members and employees (including 476 members), operating in 10 departmental trade unions.

With the theme "Worker solidarity - Implementing the resolution", "Strengthening occupational safety and health at the workplace and in the supply chain", during the peak period of responding to Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health, the Company's Trade Union presented 30 gifts to support and encourage workers and employees in difficult circumstances with a total value of 22.5 million VND, and supported the repair of 2 "Union Shelters" with an amount of 40 million VND from the "Union Social" Fund.

The company's trade union coordinates with the professional staff to organize inspection teams for occupational safety and health and fire prevention and fighting at affiliated units to raise awareness and compliance with occupational safety and health laws for employees and employers; at the same time, strengthen control of hazards and risks and propose measures to improve working conditions.

One of the highlights of the series of activities in response to Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health is that the Company's Trade Union coordinated with the professional sector to organize a contest to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh, attracting nearly 300 members, employees and children of members and employees to participate. The contest has created a strong influence, promoting the sense of responsibility, exemplary behavior in all aspects of cultivating and training in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and working style following the shining example of Uncle Ho among members and employees of the entire company.
