Along with that, the company has established an Occupational Safety and Health Board, establishing a network of occupational safety and health workers (OSH) located in all departments. Assigning specific tasks to each member to regularly organize inspections of the implementation of OSH in the departments; urging and reminding employees to strictly implement OSH regulations, fully use issued labor protection equipment, safety equipment and promptly correct shortcomings, eliminating occupational safety risks. 100% of employees working at the company receive regular health check-ups...

To ensure occupational safety and health, in recent times, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the trade unions at the grassroots level have proactively researched and proposed opinions to participate with the authorities in developing legal regulations, standards, technical regulations and policies on occupational safety and health. Every year, the unit proactively coordinates with the authorities to organize inspections, audits and supervision of the implementation of occupational safety and health at 80-100 enterprises.

Thereby, detecting and handling promptly and strictly violations of occupational safety and health, preventing occupational accidents and diseases for employees. Grassroots trade unions in units and enterprises actively participate, propose and coordinate with employers to properly and fully implement the provisions of the Labor Code related to occupational safety and health and the Law on Occupational Safety and Health, and guiding documents for implementation.

Along with that, trade unions at all levels have innovated the content and diversified the forms of propaganda, dissemination of policies, laws and knowledge on occupational safety and health. At the same time, they have coordinated to organize many occupational safety and health training courses for hundreds of officers in charge of occupational safety and health of enterprises, grassroots trade union officers, occupational safety and health networks and workers in the enterprise sector.

Support the establishment of many “Labor protection corners”, “Labor protection corners, legal advice”, build pilot models of the “Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health” movement in enterprises with a large number of employees, operating in specific fields with high risks of occupational accidents and diseases in industries and professions such as construction, stone mining, mechanics, rubber tire and tube production, garment...

Enterprise trade unions proactively coordinate with employers to effectively implement the following contents: developing occupational safety and health plans; regulations, procedures, and measures to ensure occupational safety and health; establishing an occupational safety and health network; organizing occupational safety and health training, periodic health check-ups for employees; signing commitments to ensure occupational safety and health between teams and departments; organizing self-inspection of occupational safety and health work, assessing risks and hazards at the workplace...

Thanks to the synchronous implementation, local enterprises have a good awareness of occupational safety and health, pay attention to investment, improve working conditions and environment, ensure safety of equipment, factories, prevent fire and explosion, handle dust, exhaust gas, wastewater, noise. At the same time, organize a grassroots health system to take care of the lives and health of workers; resolve policies, provide vocational training and arrange jobs for people with occupational accidents and diseases.

The movement to promote initiatives and apply science and technology in labor and production, especially in improving the environment and working conditions, has received special attention from trade unions at all levels in the province. In the past time, 76 topics and initiatives to improve production rationalization, handle environmental pollution, and improve working conditions have been implemented, contributing significantly to the prevention of labor accidents and occupational diseases for workers.
