Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union will take care of 350,000 disadvantaged workers during Tet 2026

Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union will organize many activities to take care of about 350,000 workers in difficulty during the 2026 Lunar New Year.

On November 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union announced that it had issued a plan to organize activities to take care of the Lunar New Year 2026 for union members and workers in the area.

This year, the program's theme is "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and the motto is "All union members and workers have Tet and enjoy Tet".

The subjects of care are union members and workers who have accidents, serious illnesses, long-term illnesses, and occupational diseases.

In addition, the union supports workers who have lost their jobs, had their working hours reduced, stopped working, or had their labor contracts suspended due to business difficulties...

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union, the level of care for each case is not more than 1 million VND. It is expected that the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union will care for about 350,000 people.

Many activities will be organized such as "Tet Sum Vay" associated with the program "Tet Union Market - Spring 2026". Unions at all levels will encourage visits, give gifts, give bus tickets, train tickets, plane tickets... to workers in difficulty.
