According to Duyen Quynh, "Love you, my dear" talks about the fate of poor women in the countryside who cannot choose their own happiness and the feelings of men who, although very much in love, can only stand from afar and watch the woman of their life leave because they know they cannot give her a more fulfilling life. Then, those controlling conditions make them regret and have an incomplete life.

Quoc Dai and artists participating in the MV
Talking about the reason for inviting singer Quoc Dai to collaborate in this song, Duyen Quynh said: “When writing the song, the first person Quynh thought of was male singer Quoc Dai. I have listened to him sing since I was little with many genres of music, but especially with folk music, I am extremely impressed with his simple, honest singing style. I think that singing style will take the audience through the emotions and content of the song.”
Meanwhile, Quoc Dai said: “I like Duyen Quynh’s perspective on life and the way she expresses it through her music. Simple but full of emotion. With this musical mindset, I think she will continue to develop a lot and hope to have more works with good folk music sounds.”
MV "Love you, my sister" was directed by Thai Hoang Thai Thao, producer Minh Thuy and the crew of 121 Studio, photographers Nguyen Hien and Van Do, and designer Quoc Huy.
