Vietnamese workers pioneer into new era

- Comrade Tran Van Dong: The theme of Workers' Month 2025 is: "Vietnamese workers are pioneers entering a new era"; to affirm the role, position and contribution of the working class in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; as a pioneering force in the cause of national innovation, creative labor, confidently entering a new era - the era of national development. Thereby, raising awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring for, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, improving living and working conditions of workers. Promoting workers to actively study, improve qualifications and skills, change careers, access modern labor trends, adapt to the context of international integration and the 4th industrial revolution, preparing for a new stage of development of the country. At the same time, make achievements to celebrate important events and anniversaries such as: 50 years of Ninh Thuan Liberation Day (April 16, 1975 - April 16, 2025); Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); 139 years of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025); Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party...

In addition, Workers' Month is also associated with the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2025 with many practical and meaningful activities such as: Organizing the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on OSH in 2025. Organizing a peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, introducing outstanding union members for the Party to consider, train and admit. Organizing activities to care for and support workers such as visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, workers who have had work accidents or occupational diseases. Propagating and mobilizing union members and workers to innovate their working style, improve integration skills; responding to emulation movements to improve qualifications, professional knowledge and skills; Encourage union members and workers to innovate, have many initiatives, improve techniques, apply modern technology in production, contribute to increasing labor productivity, work efficiency, improve working conditions and environment, and accompany businesses in development.

* Reporter: To have many meaningful and practical programs and activities for Workers' Month, what solutions does the Provincial Federation of Labor have?

- Comrade Tran Van Dong: The Standing Committee and Executive Committee of trade unions at all levels proactively advise and coordinate with Party committees, authorities at the same level, and employers to organize activities for Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025 to ensure practicality and effectiveness; strengthen information and propaganda work in many forms, suitable to the conditions of units and enterprises. Regularly urge, monitor and request trade unions at all levels to report on the results of organizing activities for Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025. Guide and propose rewards for collectives and individuals who organize activities well, especially workers directly involved in production with many outstanding achievements... Strive to have 55% or more of grassroots trade unions in all types of enterprises, 35% or more of grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies and public service units having at least one appropriate activity in response to Workers' Month in 2025.
