Comrade Vu Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Head of the Tax Team of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, said: Identifying the collection task as one of the main goals, from the beginning of the year, the Team has proposed specific solutions to solve difficulties and complete the assigned tasks such as: Regularly updating the collection situation for each revenue item and tax in each locality to check and urge the collection progress continuously every month and every quarter; organizing monthly meetings, closely following the implementation of tasks of each collection management unit, detecting difficulties and problems to promptly advise the City People's Committee and localities on solutions to handle and remove problems. In particular, focusing on doing a good job of urging collection and payment, reducing outstanding debts, especially in the field of industrial, commercial and non-state service taxes, land use fees; Urging effective collection of land use fees, coordinating well with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in collecting land use fees due to land use purpose conversion, the Department of Finance - Planning advised on organizing successful auctions to collect land use fees for many plots of land in the city. At the same time, promoting digital transformation, applying modern technology, information technology applications in tax management to keep up with reality when business activities, traditional business methods are gradually replaced by online business methods, business on digital platforms. Propaganda work is always focused on implementing in many diverse and rich forms along with the effective operation of the "one-stop" department; continuing to coordinate well with local press and radio agencies in propagating and disseminating new tax policies to people and businesses, periodically posting publicly the list of taxpayers with tax debts and other revenues belonging to the state budget.
Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, the total budget revenue in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City in the first 4 months of the year was 366.5 billion VND, reaching 56% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council, equal to 226% compared to the same period. 6/9 revenue items reached and exceeded the schedule; in which, land use fee collection achieved a high rate of 121%.
Based on the results achieved as well as in-depth analysis of revenue potential in the second quarter, the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Tax Team sets a target of striving to collect 85% (510 billion VND) in the first 6 months of 2025. To achieve the above target, the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Tax Team advises the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to direct relevant levels, sectors, People's Committees of wards and communes to coordinate with tax authorities to manage and exploit revenue sources in the area; promptly report tax policy problems to higher-level tax authorities for direction and guidance; ensure full and timely collection of revenues to the state budget. Continue to exploit e-commerce data to fully and promptly collect information of organizations and individuals with e-commerce business activities to bring all organizations and individuals subject to tax management into tax management; Deploy for households and individuals doing e-commerce business and on digital platforms to register, declare and pay taxes on the electronic information portal; continue to deploy the use of electronic invoices generated from cash registers for businesses and business households in the area. Continue to strengthen propaganda and guide taxpayers to pay taxes via electronic transaction apps, pay taxes using electronic tax applications on mobile devices (eTax Mobile) for households and individuals doing business. At the same time, focus on directing the drastic and thorough implementation of debt management and tax debt enforcement measures.
