Officers and workers of Dak Lak Power Company and supporting units overcame numerous difficulties of rain, floods, heat, working conditions, living, accommodation... day and night, closely following the scene to fix problems to restore power as soon as possible.

Storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) caused heavy damage to Dak Lak province in general and the electricity sector in particular.

According to statistics, the damage to power supply caused by storm No. 13 (at the most severe time) of Dak Lak Electricity Company showed that there were 8 incidents of 110kV grid lines, including 2 customer property lines; 113 incidents of medium voltage grid; 5,139 distribution transformer stations lost power, of which 2,800 transformer stations lost power in the east of the province, accounting for 85.21% of the number of transformer stations in the east.

The total lost load capacity was 221.2 MW, accounting for about 40.9% of the total system capacity of the whole province.

Power outages caused 392,285 customers to lose power, of which 262,597 customers lost power in the east of the province, accounting for 83.52% of the total number of customers in the east; 40 communes and wards suffered partial or total power outages, of which 33 communes and wards in the east alone.

Immediately after the storm passed, Dak Lak Electricity Company mobilized forces to fix the power problem.

To overcome the power grid problems caused by storm No. 13, and to supply electricity due to the impact of storm No. 13, from November 6 to now, Dak Lak Electricity Company has mobilized all human resources and vehicles to participate in disaster recovery work at the peak with more than 1,000 people and more than 60 specialized vehicles for cranes, loading, lifting people, and transportation.

The mobilized forces overcame numerous difficulties of rain, floods, working conditions, living, and accommodation, staying close to the scene day and night to fix the problem and restore power as soon as possible.

As of 6:00 a.m. on November 13, Dak Lak Electricity Company had restored power to 388,761 out of 392,285 customers who lost power due to the storm, reaching a rate of 99.1%; restored 110 out of 113 incidents of power outages on medium voltage lines and segments.
