Lang Son Electricity Company organizes customer conference 2025 - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of April 10, at The Pride Conference Center , Lang Son city, Lang Son Power Company held the 2025 customer conference. Attending the conference were comrade Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Northern Power Corporation, leaders of Lang Son Power Company, and many large electricity users in the area.

According to the report at the conference, Lang Son province is currently supplied with power from a 220kV station with a capacity of 375MVA and 8 power plants with a total capacity of 164.9MW; the 110kV grid consists of 300 km of lines connecting with the provinces of Bac Giang , Quang Ninh and Cao Bang. Currently, the 110kV transformer stations in the area are operating at an average load of 50% of the rated capacity. The medium-voltage grid with a total length of 3,210 km and 2,409 distribution substations, the low-voltage grid with a total length of 5,669 km ensures power supply for more than 265,000 customers in the province.

In terms of electricity saving, in 2024, the total electricity saving output of the whole province is 20.638 million kWh, reaching 2.36% of the total commercial electricity. At the same time, the Company also completed the production and business targets according to the plan, with commercial electricity output reaching 872.47 million kWh, an increase of 1.82% compared to 2023. The actual electricity loss rate is 6.29%, 0.16% lower than the assigned plan.

At the conference, delegates and electricity users discussed and shared experiences in electricity demand management, load adjustment... and proposed ideas and solutions to coordinate with Lang Son Electricity Company to effectively implement electricity supply in 2025.

Speaking at the Conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts, endeavors and responsibilities of Lang Son Power Company in supplying electricity for production and daily life as well as ensuring grid safety during the rainy and stormy season. To meet the increasing demand for electricity and improve the quality of electricity supply services in the coming time, he suggested that the electricity sector and Lang Son Power Company continue to promote the application of digital technology , digital transformation in management, operation and customer care, contributing to improving the efficiency of power system operation and service quality; continue to invest in and upgrade grid infrastructure, especially in developing industrial parks; Continue to effectively implement Directive No. 20 dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister on enhancing electricity saving in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years and Plan No. 148 dated July 4, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee, support businesses in implementing solutions to use energy economically and efficiently; coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies to promote propaganda and encourage organizations, individuals and businesses to invest in installing self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power systems in accordance with regulations.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that enterprises using a lot of electricity proactively implement energy saving solutions, optimize production processes, participate in the electricity load adjustment program; limit electricity use during peak hours during the hot season; strictly comply with the committed consumption capacity; Lang Son Electricity Company actively coordinates with departments, branches, People's Committees of districts and cities to effectively resolve issues arising during the implementation of power grid and transformer station construction projects in the province. On this occasion, the Northern Power Corporation awarded certificates of merit to 10 typical customers, agencies and enterprises in the work of managing load demand, using electricity economically and effectively.

At the conference, the Northern Power Corporation awarded certificates of merit to 10 customers who are state agencies and typical enterprises for actively cooperating with the electricity industry in electricity supply in 2024.
