The shock team gathered, assigned and deployed general inspection and drill work.
This is an annual drill of Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company, aiming to raise awareness, sense of responsibility and initiative in PCTT-TKCN work. At the same time, practice operational skills, understand the organizational structure, sequence of implementation steps, coordinate forces, ensure readiness to respond to situations that may occur at the Company.
The 2024 PCTT-TKCN drill plan is based on geographical characteristics and actual situation to develop a specific drill plan by the Command Board. Ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles participating in the drill as well as not affecting the factory's production process.
During the drill, the hypothetical situation was that at 8:00 a.m. on May 28, 2023, the operator drove the machine to check the coal warehouse when the rain was decreasing. When checking the area around the Duyen Hai 3 coal warehouse, he discovered a large amount of stagnant water, the drainage system could not drain in time, there was a risk of coal spilling out. The operator immediately reported to the team leader and the PCTT-TKCN shock team to coordinate in overcoming the risk.
Deploy the situation of using coal sacks to build dikes.
After receiving the information, the shock team immediately reported to the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue to ask for advice on how to respond to the risk. At about 8:35 a.m., the leader of the shock team arrived at the scene and informed the team members working in areas near the location at risk of an incident to organize and assign tasks to each member to respond to the risk and deploy the use of coal sacks to build the embankment. At 10:30 a.m., the shock team had completed the incident response and ensured safety.
Rescue drills.
During the incident response, an operator participating in the incident response fell and was injured. Medical staff were present to provide first aid and take the victim to the medical center.
With careful preparation and proper implementation, the exercise met the requirements for deployment capability and proactive response and recovery of damage caused by storms in the fastest time. Thereby, the coordination ability of the units participating in the exercise was tested, the preparation according to the "four on-site" motto at the unit including: on-site command; on-site forces; on-site means and materials and on-site logistics.
Immediately after the exercise, the Exercise Steering Committee held a meeting to summarize and evaluate the experience. According to the assessment, the exercise achieved its objectives and requirements, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment. The practice process handled situations flexibly, quickly, and in accordance with techniques and procedures.
The Company representative said: in addition to the PCTT-TKCN drills, to be proactive before the 2024 storm season, Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company has been focusing on synchronously implementing solutions such as: proactively developing a power supply plan, conducting inspections, reviews, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and hydromechanical systems, construction items of Power Plants and fully implementing the contents related to PCTT-TKCN work, to ensure the goal of safe and stable power supply in the remaining months of 2024.
