Nghi Son Thermal Power Company donates gratitude houses to poor households in Tay Ho commune (Tho Xuan)

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On June 4, at the Cultural Center of Tay Ho Commune (Tho Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province), the People's Committee of Tay Ho Commune in coordination with Nghi Son Thermal Power Company - Branch of Power Generation Corporation 1 solemnly organized the House Handover Ceremony for 3 poor households with especially difficult circumstances in the commune.

Representative of Nghi Son Thermal Power Company presented a house of gratitude to a poor household in Tay Ho commune.

Attending the handover ceremony were comrade Vo Manh Ha, Director of Nghi Son Thermal Power Company; representatives of the company's departments, boards and trade unions. On the local side, there were comrades: Nguyen Khac Trung, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Le Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee; representatives of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, Party cell secretaries, village chiefs and local people.

Opening the ceremony, comrade Le Dinh Tu, Vice Chairman of Tay Ho Commune People's Committee affirmed: "Vietnamese people have a tradition of mutual love and support. With that tradition, today, Tay Ho Commune is honored to receive practical and meaningful support from Nghi Son Thermal Power Company in joining hands to help poor households stabilize their lives and escape poverty sustainably."

Nghi Son Thermal Power Company has sponsored 300 million VND (100 million VND per household) to support the construction of 3 new, spacious and solid houses, contributing to helping households have a safe and stable life.

Comrade Le Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Tay Ho Commune People's Committee spoke at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Truong, Chairman of Tay Ho Commune People's Committee emphasized: "There are still many households in the commune facing housing difficulties. The cooperation of agencies and enterprises, especially Nghi Son Thermal Power Company, has contributed to realizing the dream of settling down for families, giving them more motivation to stabilize their lives and escape poverty."

Hopefully, the new houses will be a solid foundation for families to rise up in life.”

Receiving support to build a new house, Mr. Hoang Van Binh, representative of the households that received the house, emotionally shared: "I would like to send my sincere thanks to the local government and Nghi Son Thermal Power Company. Without the help of the government and benefactors like the Company, we probably could not have built a house like today."

The handover ceremony of houses to poor households in Tay Ho commune not only has material significance but also imbued with humanistic values, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community "Leaving no one behind".
