Martin Dzilah in Pleiku City
Did the investigating agency return HAGL's complaint?
At 8:30 AM on October 31st, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Gia Lai Provincial Police held its second meeting with striker Martin Dzilah to further clarify some issues related to the complaint filed by LPBank HAGL Sports Joint Stock Company (HAGL Club).
Earlier on October 10th, the investigating police summoned the Ghanaian striker for the first time in Pleiku City, where he continued to assert that he had not received the $20,000 as claimed in his complaint to FIFA – which resulted in FIFA requiring HAGL Club to pay $29,000 to the player if they wanted to lift the indefinite global transfer ban.
It is known that after the meeting on October 10th, Martin Dzilah continued to stay in Pleiku City, joining an amateur football team in the mountain town to cover his living expenses. According to Thanh Nien Newspaper's investigation, after this morning's meeting, Martin Dzilah's side stated that the investigative police have confirmed they will return the complaint file from HAGL Club due to insufficient evidence.

Will HAGL pay the player $29,000?
It is understood that HAGL FC is currently under a global transfer ban from FIFA, which will only be lifted if FIFA receives confirmation from Martin Dzilah that he has received the full $29,000 from the club.
Following the FIFA penalty, HAGL Club has stated that it will seek clarification from the relevant authorities to protect its reputation and prove that it transferred the $20,000 USD.
If the investigative police do return the complaint file from HAGL Club, it is very likely that the team from the mountainous region will be forced to implement other solutions, including possibly paying the player $29,000 to restore normal activity in the transfer market, supporting the team which is performing impressively in the V-League 2024-2025.
