Ms. Ngoc Chan (B1 driving test candidate) said that she was nervous when she took the test for the first time organized by the Traffic Police. The steps were clear and professional, so she and everyone else were quite confident when taking the test.

“Before taking the exam, I was thoroughly informed about the process, theory, simulation, and driving course. Now I feel very confident to pass the exam,” Ms. Ngoc Chan shared.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu, Head of PC08, after a period of receiving the task of organizing the test, issuing driving licenses as well as developing plans and organizing the plan, today, the unit organized the first test, issuing driving licenses. This is a step marking the implementation of the new task of the Traffic Police.

PC08 Department established 2 examination councils including 1 car council and 1 A1 motorbike council for 500 candidates. In the morning, 200 candidates will take the car driving test at Hoc Mon Driving Test Center and the rest will take the A1 motorbike driving test at Tan Phu Driving Test Center.
Up to now, Ho Chi Minh City still has about 119,000 driver's license examination registration files pending due to the transfer of management from the Department of Transport (old) to the Ho Chi Minh City Police. To proactively address the needs of the people, the Traffic Police Department has assigned the Driver's License Examination and Issuance Team to proactively develop plans, schedule the organization, and promptly resolve these backlogs.
