Attending the event were comrades: Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association; Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates respectfully offered him a basket of fresh flowers. In the sacred moment, the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their infinite gratitude and remembrance of his great contributions to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and building a peaceful , independent, unified, increasingly prosperous and developed socialist Vietnam.
On behalf of 444 delegates of Advanced Youth attending the 8th Congress of Advanced Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings, comrade Vu Hong Son, Secretary of the Youth Union of Vinh City General Hospital (belonging to the delegation of Nghe An province) reported to Uncle Ho.
Presenting his article, comrade Vu Hong Son expressed that during his lifetime, Uncle Ho always had special feelings, great trust and always cared about teaching, guiding and taking care of the younger generation. His profound advice "Young people must volunteer to be exemplary in work, in learning, in progress, in revolutionary morality" is always engraved in the mind of every young person, a great motivation for the younger generation to strive, make efforts and contribute continuously.
“Gathered and oriented by the Youth Union, we have been promoting the pioneering spirit in studying, training, mastering science and technology; actively participating in the national digital transformation, innovative startups, performing well in professional tasks, participating in administrative reform; protecting the Fatherland, maintaining political security, social order and safety. With the desire to contribute, we are always ready to go to difficult and arduous places, taking care of families with preferential policies, people with revolutionary contributions, people in difficult circumstances, protecting, caring for, and educating teenagers and children, and contributing our youth to important tasks of the country”, comrade Vu Hong Son reported to Uncle Ho.
In front of the President Ho Chi Minh Monument, the advanced youth delegates were honored to receive the badge "Advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings".
From May 16 to 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized the 8th Congress of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings - 2025. The Congress was attended by 444 delegates from all over the country and abroad.
