Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: This is an event of great significance in terms of politics , diplomacy and culture. This is not only an opportunity to promote the image of Vietnam in general and Ninh Binh province in particular, but also affirms the policy of religious freedom and open foreign policy of our Party and State. Therefore, the organization of the procession and enshrinement of Buddha's relics - the National Treasure of India at Bai Dinh Pagoda needs to be carried out carefully, strictly, in accordance with State regulations, meeting the aspirations of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province and a large number of followers, Buddhists and people.
He requested all levels and sectors to ensure the following requirements: Political security, traffic safety and order, fire prevention and fighting; environmental sanitation; food safety and health for delegates, followers, Buddhists and the people. Effectively disseminate information and propaganda; strengthen promotional activities and introduce tangible and intangible cultural heritages of Trang An Scenic Complex. Fully deploy forces to support activities serving the procession and enshrinement of Buddha's relics.
As planned, the ceremony to receive the Buddha's relics will be held solemnly and respectfully, showing gratitude and respect for the Buddha, while also creating an opportunity for a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists and tourists from all over to come and worship, pray for national peace, world peace and happiness for all beings.
