The ceremony started at 4 o'clock at Quan Su Pagoda hall with rituals of praying for peace, chanting, and worshiping Buddha's relics, attracting the participation of hundreds of monks, nuns, and Buddhists .
From early morning, people flocked to Quan Su Pagoda. Long lines of Buddhists holding five-colored flags and lotus flowers stood with their hands clasped in prayer, sending the relics on their way to Tam Chuc Pagoda, where they will be enshrined.
The Buddha's relics were slowly transported by car through Le Duan and Giai Phong streets, then onto Phap Van - Cau Gie highway, escorted by police and witnessed by monks.

Previously, from May 13 to 16, the relics were placed at Quan Su Pagoda for hundreds of thousands of Buddhists from all over to come and worship.
According to the temple representative, in just 3 days, tens of thousands of people came to worship and pray in peace and respect.

From May 17 to 21, the relics will be enshrined at Tam The Temple, Tam Chuc Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Vietnam.
During the event, the organizers arranged free electric cars and sightseeing boats and distributed about 50,000 vegetarian meals each day to serve tourists and Buddhists .

It is estimated that the number of chrysanthemums forming lotus flowers at Tam The (Tam Chuc) temple, where the Buddha's relics will be enshrined, is up to 11,000. With about 350 lotus pots, every day 5,000 - 7,000 fresh lotus flowers are continuously brought in to replace the old ones.
Lotus flowers are prioritized from Ha Nam and Van Dai Lotus Cooperative (where there are the most unique lotus varieties in Vietnam).
The organizers said that the time for people and Buddhists to worship Buddha's relics at Tam The Temple, Tam Chuc Pagoda starts from 3:00 p.m. on May 17 to 12:00 p.m. on May 20.
