The event has a sacred and special meaning as it takes place in a land rich in revolutionary tradition, where many sacrifices and losses were suffered during two resistance wars.

The book “Aspiration for Peace ” is nearly 500 pages thick, gathering nearly 40 authors who are famous writers, poets, and literary theorists in the literary life, such as Nguyen Quang Thieu, Tran Dang Khoa, Khuong Huu Dung, Nguyen Viet Chien, Phan Chi Thanh, Ho Thanh Hai...

The work is not only a collection of pages filled with humanistic values, but also a crystallization of emotions, memories, and gratitude to those who fell for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Speaking at the book launch, poet Tran Dang Khoa emphasized: “This is a special book launch. The works in the book were written by writers who have been involved in revolutionary literature for many years, some of whom have been writing since the time of Phan Boi Chau. In particular, poet Khuong Huu Dung, one of the authors of the book, is the father of Colonel Khuong The Hung, the lover of doctor Dang Thuy Tram, who has become a beautiful symbol of youth and revolutionary ideals. These things make each page of this book more vivid and touching than ever.”

The work “Aspiration for Peace” does not stop at recording and creating literature. The book is a message across time: Peace is a great aspiration, but it is not free, but is exchanged for blood, tears and courage of many generations. The book is the bridge between the past and the present, between history and gratitude, so that today's generation can cherish peace more and live more responsibly towards their homeland and country.
