On April 30, at the Reunification Palace, Ho Chi Minh City, Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received a delegation from the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN) led by FLN Politburo member Bensalem Mohamed on the occasion of attending the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
At the reception, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien warmly welcomed the FLN Party's high-ranking delegation to attend the Anniversary Ceremony, an event that is not only of great significance to the Vietnamese people but also to express gratitude for the valuable support of international friends and peace-loving people in the world , including Algeria, in the cause of protecting and unifying the country, as expressed in the heartfelt speech of General Secretary To Lam at the Anniversary Ceremony; emphasizing the history of close ties and mutual support between the two Parties and two countries in the struggle for national liberation, sharing the aspiration for national independence, developing a prosperous and happy country, considering this a priceless asset that needs to be consolidated, promoted and passed on to future generations.
