MoMo has launched the "Learn Security Together with MoMo" project to equip and provide users with knowledge about security in a visual and easy-to-understand way.
"Learn about security with MoMo" is a project that MoMo is collaborating with the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) to promote awareness of security among Vietnamese people, thereby enhancing their ability to protect themselves against risks in the digital environment.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep, Co-founder of MoMo, shared: “We will widely disseminate this knowledge to many users through various influential media channels, with the desire that everyone can access it. By changing the purpose of using media channels, MoMo aims to contribute to activities raising awareness about security for Vietnamese people, instead of just communicating the company's new products, features, and services.”
The "Learn Security with MoMo" project includes a series of short videos focusing on security topics ranging from passwords and OTPs to warning against suspicious links and money transfer requests, as well as instructions on implementing security measures such as biometric authentication. The longest videos are over 30 seconds long, presented in a creative, relatable, and trendy style, rather than simply providing dry, academic knowledge.
Much of the "lesson" series is modeled after interesting real-life situations, common examples such as how people often set simple but risky passwords, while also guiding users to "tips" for setting secure passwords. Thanks to this visual, lively, and relatable presentation, MoMo has made security knowledge easy to understand, so that anyone can apply it to protect their accounts and assets.
“Collaborating with MoMo is not only an important step in promoting information security but also demonstrates the commitment of both parties to protecting users from potential risks in the digital environment. We hope that this project will help users proactively protect themselves, address the urgent need to enhance digital security, and bring practical benefits to the digital ecosystem in Vietnam,” said Mr. Ngo Vi Dong, Vice President of VNISA.
