The moment of transition
Ms. Huynh Ba Thao Uyen (31 years old, An Hai ward) shared that every year, around midnight, she and her family participate in the art program at Bien Dong Park and count down to the New Year. This year, the program is themed "Tet is Coming" with many attractive laser and multi-dimensional drone performances.
Like Ms. Uyen, Mr. Tran Xuan Trung (40 years old, Hai Van ward) expressed that at the moment of transition, he, his wife, and children strolled through the streets to enjoy the New Year's Eve atmosphere. For him, this helped him recharge his energy and get ready to welcome the new year.
Trung said that the moment of midnight, when the referee's whistle blows, helps him and his family complete their unfinished plans and projects. Not only that, at the moment of entering the new year, he and the Co Tu community together send their wishes into the vast sky, praying for peace and safety for everyone and every family.
Sasha Shakhov (35 years old), a Russian tourist, expressed that for the past two years, due to the nature of his work, he had to leave Russia and live in Da Nang city. Although the time wasn't very long, it left him with unforgettable impressions of the city, from its beautiful beaches to its majestic mountains and friendly people. This also meant he had two years to experience the New Year's celebrations with friends from the US, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
Sasha said that experiencing the New Year's atmosphere in Vietnam helped him capture memorable moments as he and his friends counted down the final seconds of the old year. "Like everyone else, my friends and I wandered through the streets on the last day of the year to immerse ourselves in the New Year's celebrations. Being part of that atmosphere, raising glasses of cold beer and singing 'Happy New Year' made my emotions just overflow," Sasha happily said.
The New Year's Eve celebrations for 2026 are not only cultural and entertainment activities but also a message of innovation, creativity, and integration for the city. This will be a significant milestone contributing to enhancing the experiences of residents and tourists, creating momentum for the city's tourism industry to continue its breakthrough. Hopefully, every resident and every tourist will cherish meaningful moments and memorable experiences during the countdown to the New Year 2026.
