With the strong development of media over the past 10 years, reality TV shows (game shows) have become indispensable content for TV stations. A series of popular game shows have been born such as Rap Viet, Mask Singer, Who Is That Person. These programs bring in millions of views for each episode broadcast on VieON's Youtube channel.

VieON is a media platform of VieON Joint Stock Company - a member of DatViet VAC Group Holdings Joint Stock Company (Dat Viet VAC Group). Up to now, this group is considered the largest enterprise in the game of television game show production.

The predecessor of Dat Viet VAC Group was established by Mr. Dinh Ba Thanh (born in 1957) in 1994. The 3 pillars of this group are DatViet Media (media company), DatViet OOH (outdoor advertising company) and DDB Advertising (affiliated media company).

In 1998, Mr. Thanh's group launched the first television program production company in Vietnam called Dong Tay Promotion.

By 2018, the company transformed from a media company into an entertainment technology ecosystem.

According to the National Business Registration Portal, DatViet VAC Group Holdings Joint Stock Company was established in June 2019. After 7 changes in business registration, the company has a charter capital of 649.23 billion VND. Headquartered at 222 Pasteur, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Dinh Ba Thanh is the General Director and legal representative.

Initially, the company had a charter capital of 5 billion VND, in which Mr. Dinh Ba Thanh contributed 54.9% of the capital, Mr. Dao Van Kinh contributed 35.1% of the capital, and Mr. Hoang Trong Khai contributed 10% of the capital.

Mr. Kinh is currently the legal representative of Dat Viet Media Joint Stock Company. Mr. Khai is the representative of many other companies such as Dat Viet OOH Joint Stock Company, VieOn Joint Stock Company, Datviet VAC M&E Joint Stock Company,... These companies are all located at the headquarters of Dat Viet VAC Group.

In the ecosystem of this group, Song Minh Art Joint Stock Company is legally represented by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep (born in 1962). Ms. Diep is also the representative of Thi Nam Phuong Joint Stock Company and The Nam Khang Joint Stock Company.

According to the National Business Registration Portal, The Nam Khang Joint Stock Company was established in March 2007. This company operates in the real estate sector, with a charter capital of VND 588.11 billion. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep is currently the Director. This company's headquarters coincides with the headquarters of Dat Viet VAC Group. Mr. Thanh is the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

This company is the investor of The Nam Khang Resort Residences project (now Mandarin Oriental Da Nang). The project is located on a 30km long coastline, bordering Hoi An ancient town to the south, including 69 resort villas, 18 3-bedroom villas, designed with private space.

In 2021, this project was mentioned by the People's Committee of Da Nang City among a number of projects that have not been implemented or are slow to be implemented. In February 2021, some information said that the Mandarin Oriental Da Nang project will start operating from 2024.

Thi Nam Phuong Joint Stock Company is the investor of the Princess Nam Phuong Building project at 222 Pasteur, Ward 6, District 3, HCMC. This is also the "headquarters" of Dat Viet VAC Group.
