Nearly 2,100 billion VND has been registered to support flood victims.

According to the latest statistics, as of 5:00 p.m. on November 25, the total amount of money that agencies, units, organizations, and philanthropists registered to support people in localities affected by natural disasters in recent times has reached 2,088.5 billion VND.

Representatives of the leaders and officials of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission presented a symbolic plaque with the amount of money to support flood victims at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front .

Presenting the donation of 450 million VND to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Tran Thanh Lam shared: "This is the sentiment and heart of the collective of cadres, party members, and workers of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee sent to the people in the flood-affected areas to contribute to sharing the difficulties and painful losses that the people have just experienced."

With sincere gratitude for that sentiment, Comrade Cao Xuan Thao, Member of the Presidium, Head of the Social Work Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, pledged that the donations from ministries, branches and people nationwide will be transferred to the people of the provinces affected by storms and floods as soon as possible. Each Front official has, is and will promote the highest spirit and responsibility towards the people in the work of donating and supporting.

Representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment symbolically presented the donation of 1.3 billion VND.

It is known that since October, the Fronts in 34 provinces, cities and all levels have launched support programs in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support on the spot, directly transferring support resources to localities affected by natural disasters.

As of 5 p.m. on November 25, more than 1.05 million people and nearly 61,000 businesses have donated through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. The total amount of money registered through the Mobilization Committee has reached VND2,088.5 billion.

Representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front symbolically received the donation of 1 billion VND from Vietnam Airlines .

Of which, units registered through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee but directly transferred support to localities was 1,118.5 billion VND; units, organizations and individuals transferred money or cash directly to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee was more than 970 billion VND.
