This year, the Youth Palace will offer more than 20 classes in three main groups: culture and arts (fine arts, dance, vocal music, flute, trumpet, conversational Chinese, etc.), science and technology – skills (programming, robotics, etc.), and physical education and sports (martial arts, soccer, chess, badminton, etc.). Notably, this will be the first year the palace will expand its program with artificial intelligence (AI) application skills classes.
Ms. Hoang Thi Lieu, Deputy Director of Lang Son Youth Palace, said: We have fully prepared facilities and equipment for teaching and learning during the summer such as: class name signs, drinking water, class books, lesson books, classroom decorations, etc. At the same time, we have carried out a general cleaning of all classrooms, practice grounds, swimming pools and added some free entertainment equipment. At the same time, the Skills - Professional Department has also developed a specific teaching program for each class. In addition to the unit's talented teachers, we have invited more teachers and collaborators with professional experience to participate in teaching and teaching.
Not only the Youth Palace, the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center is also a destination chosen by many students who love sports. This summer, the center continues to organize soccer, badminton, chess, martial arts classes... and for the first time introduces Pickleball. With a team of experienced coaches and the support of sports majors from Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports, the center can meet the learning needs of about 300 students.
Mr. Nguyen Tri Toan, Director of the center said: The classes not only aim to improve the physical fitness and train the will of the children, but also serve as a place for us to discover and nurture young sports talents. Every year, the center discovers 3-4 children with sports qualities to coordinate with their families to consider specialized training.
In addition to public units, the province also has many private centers and classes organized by gifted teachers at home or in collaboration with entertainment and art companies. The content of these classes is very rich, from MC skills, fine arts, child models to practical experience activities... to meet the increasingly diverse needs of young people.
Normally, summer training classes for children start from June 1 to August 1, with an average of 5 to 25 students per class, with flexible time and organization, suitable for the needs and conditions of each family. Tuition fees range from 500,000 VND to 2 million VND for an 8-12 session course; for special programs such as “Military Semester” or advanced gifted classes, the price can be up to 3.5 million VND.
Ms. Hoang Kim Tuyen, Zone 8, Dinh Lap Town shared: “This year, I registered my two daughters to participate in the Military Semester program at the Youth Palace. I am very confident about the quality of the program and the facilities. I hope my children will be trained in discipline and have meaningful experiences, different from previous summers.”
Along with the city area, in districts and communes in remote areas, summer activities are also organized flexibly and creatively, creating useful playgrounds for children. At the cultural houses of villages and residential areas, the youth union and grassroots team organize exciting activities, attracting a large number of children to participate. The content is built richly, suitable for the needs and conditions of each place such as: swimming lessons, gymnastics, martial arts, folk dance, folk games, modern games, knowledge competitions... helping children develop comprehensively in terms of physical strength, skills and cognition.
Summer vacation is not only a time for children to rest and experience, but also an opportunity for comprehensive development, ideal nurturing, and personality formation. With the support of family, school and the whole society, summer 2025 promises to bring meaningful experiences, helping Lang Son teenagers and children grow up more firmly and fully.
