Distributed more than 1,200 liters of chemicals to districts, towns and cities to implement the first month of general cleaning, disinfection and sterilization in 2025.
Provide 52 liters of chemicals to Hai Quy commune to disinfect and sterilize the epidemic area and surrounding areas; distribute materials for epidemic prevention work in the locality. Hai Quy commune People's Committee also provided funds to buy 700 kg of lime powder, poultry packaging, waterproof tarpaulins to destroy sick poultry... Closely monitor poultry flocks in the commune; strictly prohibit the buying, selling and transporting of poultry in the epidemic area.
Organize a review of the total poultry herd and implement vaccination against avian influenza in outbreaks and risk areas. Accordingly, by the end of April 30, the whole province had vaccinated over 218,000 poultry; in Hai Lang district alone, over 54,500 were vaccinated; Hai Quy commune vaccinated nearly 9,400 poultry of all kinds.
Thanks to the synchronous and drastic implementation of epidemic prevention solutions, since the last case was destroyed on April 7, as of May 5, Hai Quy commune has gone 21 days without any new cases of avian influenza, meeting the conditions to declare the end of the A/H5N1 avian influenza epidemic.
