Da Nang has an international general hospital project worth more than 670 billion VND.

The Management Board of Quang Nam Economic Zones and Industrial Parks (under the People's Committee of Da Nang City) has approved the investment policy for an international general hospital project worth more than 670 billion VND, with a scale of 300 beds.

On the afternoon of October 15, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Quang Nam Economic Zones and Industrial Parks (under the People's Committee of Da Nang City), said that he had officially approved the investment policy for the project of a 300-bed international general hospital in Quang Phu Ward (Da Nang City).

According to the decision, this international general hospital project has a total investment of more than 670 billion VND, with a scale of 300 beds.

The approved investor consortium to implement the project is a combination of Tuong Lai International Group Corporation and Quang Nam Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

Regarding progress, the investors committed to completing the entire 300-bed general hospital project and putting it into operation within 48 months from the date of issuance of the construction permit.

The project will be implemented in two phases. Phase 1 will complete the 200-bed general hospital and put it into operation within 36 months from the date of construction permit issuance.

In phase 2 alone, the 100-bed medical examination area will be completed, putting the entire project into operation according to the remaining overall schedule.

The Management Board of Quang Nam Economic Zones and Industrial Parks requires the investor consortium to properly fulfill the commitments set out in the dossier, and comply with the provisions of the law on land, planning, environmental protection, construction, and fire prevention and fighting.

In particular, investors must be responsible before the law for the honesty and accuracy of project information and investment efficiency, and strictly comply with the quarterly and annual reporting regime on project implementation status and tax reporting as prescribed.

The Management Board of Quang Nam Economic Zones and Industrial Parks also said that the approval of this large-scale international general hospital project is expected to create more high-quality healthcare options for people in Da Nang City and neighboring provinces, contributing to making the city a leading medical center in the Central region.
