Da Nang declares emergency situation regarding natural disasters in some areas of severe landslides

Specifically, according to Decision No. 2661/QD-UBND announcing a natural disaster emergency situation regarding the subsidence situation with the risk of landslides in the residential area of Co Tu Traditional Village, Agrong hamlet, and residential areas of Achiing hamlet and Axoo hamlet (Tay Giang commune).

Decision No. 2662/QD-UBND announced a natural disaster emergency situation regarding landslides on the Thu Bon river bank in the Ong Huu bridge area, in the villages of Phu Lac, Phu Da 1, Thanh Xuyen and Tinh Yen (Thu Bon commune) with a length of about 500m.

The City People's Committee assigned the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards to immediately implement urgent measures to respond to and overcome the consequences in order to prevent and minimize damage caused by natural disasters.

Localities closely monitor landslides and natural disaster developments; proactively mobilize forces, means and resources to promptly evacuate and relocate people from dangerous areas; and arrange logistics for people at evacuation sites.

Put up warning signs, delineate dangerous areas, proactively review plans for deploying guard forces, ensure safety for people; increase information and communication so that people know about the risk of landslides so that they can proactively take measures to prevent and respond.

Decision No. 2660/QD-UBND announcing a natural disaster emergency situation to respond to and overcome damage to traffic infrastructure on the Duy Phuoc bridge approach road (Ba Ngan bridge, Hoi An ward) due to the impact of storm No. 12 and heavy rains since October 26.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to proactively decide on the order to build emergency works to implement the project to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and organize repairs. The Department of Finance synthesizes and advises on the arrangement of funds for the Department of Construction to overcome the consequences of natural disasters from the city's public resources.
