The city promotes health insurance for students in the 2023-2024 school year.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a document on promoting the implementation of health insurance for students in the 2023-2024 school year in the city.
Accordingly, in the 2022-2023 school year, with the active participation of the entire political system, the whole city has 332,098 students participating in health insurance, reaching a rate of 100%.
In the 2023-2024 school year, in order to complete the assigned target of 100% of students participating in health insurance, the City People's Committee requested the City Social Insurance to take the lead in organizing the full implementation of communication content on promoting communication on health insurance policies for students in the 2023-2024 school year; coordinate with relevant departments and branches to propose mobilizing legal funding sources to support health insurance premiums for students in the area, especially those with difficult family circumstances.
The Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the People's Committees of districts, Da Nang University and educational and training institutions in the national education system in the city closely coordinate with the Social Insurance sector to organize communication and dissemination in many forms on policies and laws on health insurance for students in educational institutions, staff, teachers, students and parents; assign targets for participation in health insurance for students to each educational institution.
